Security Alert: Scam Text Messages

We’re aware that some nabtrade clients have received text messages claiming to be from [nabtrade securities], asking them to click a link to remove restrictions on their nabtrade account. Please be aware this is likely a scam. Do not click on any links in these messages. nabtrade will never ask you to click on a link via a text message to verify or unlock your account.

How do I transfer Issuer Sponsored shares to nabtrade?

Use the Issuer Sponsored Conversion to convert your existing Issuer Sponsored shares onto your nabtrade account.

Note: Submitting this request authorises nabtrade’s Sponsoring Broker, WealthHub Securities Ltd, to convert and register your shares with us.

To access the Issuer Sponsored Conversion form:

  1. Log in to nabtrade using your User ID and Password.
  2. Navigate to Settings from the main navigation and click on Issuer Sponsored Conversion
  3. Follow the prompts to submit the request.

If there are additional account holders, all account holders will receive a notification to consent to the conversion. To accept, additional account holders must log into their own nabtrade profile and navigate to Settings > Service notifications and actions to complete the outstanding action. 

To access the Issuer Sponsored Conversion form:

  1. Log in to nabtrade using your User ID and Password.
  2. Navigate to Admin > Permissions.
  3. Click on the Apply link next to Issuer Sponsored Conversion.

If there are additional account holders, all account holders will receive a notification to consent to the conversion. To accept, additional account holders must log into their own nabtrade profile and navigate to Admin > Settings > Outstanding actions to complete the outstanding action. 

Alternatively, complete the Issuer to CHESS conversion form and email it to forms@nabtrade.com.au.

Things to know

So your conversion can be actioned quickly, please make sure:

  • The CHESS name and address details on your nabtrade account exactly match the details held at the share registry
  • All account holders authorise the request with their signature. Your SMS Security Code (in the new platform or your Trading PIN (in the old platform) is your electronic signature when submitting the request online. Any additional account holders will need to authorise by completing the ‘Outstanding Action’ on the admin pages of the website. Once all account holders have authorised the request it will be submitted electronically to the ASX
  • You have no open orders for the shares you are transferring
