Companies discussed: JB Hi-Hi (JBH), CAR Group (CAR) & Dexus Convenience REIT (DXC)

Stocks covered: 

  • JB Hi-Fi (ASX: JBH): 5.4% NPAT growth, weighed down by a one-off payment to settle the ACCC case against the Good Guys in 2024. Sales were higher, with a fully franked special dividend of $1 a share declared and CEO Terry Smart sets to retire in October.
  • CAR Group (ASX: CAR): FY NPAT +10% on the back of a lift in revenue, with a final dividend of 41.5c/share, 40% franked declared, up 8% on the previous year.
  • Dexus Convenience Retail REIT (ASX: DXC): delivers on FY25 guidance, with FFO supported by increases in rents and an increase in occupancy
