Security Alert: Scam Text Messages

We’re aware that some nabtrade clients have received text messages claiming to be from [nabtrade securities], asking them to click a link to remove restrictions on their nabtrade account. Please be aware this is likely a scam. Do not click on any links in these messages. nabtrade will never ask you to click on a link via a text message to verify or unlock your account.

How do I change or remove individuals as trustees from an individual or joint trust account?

To change an individual trustee on a trust account, you will need to complete and return the below to forms@nabtrade.com.au:

  • A letter signed by both the retiring and current individual trustees informing nabtrade of the changes including a request to transfer any cash and stock to the new account.
  • The new trustee needs to complete a new application to reflect the new trustee structure of the account to meet ASX requirements – individual trustees are not able to be amended on existing accounts.
  • A copy of the Deed of Amendment or Variation.

If the new director is new to NAB or nabtrade, they must:

  • Provide ID in person at a NAB branch; or
  • Post certified ID with their application form.
